The Aga Khan University Hospital, Karachi is proud to have qualified and dedicated Team of Surgeons, Medical, Nursing and Allied professionals within the Service Line Eye and ENT. Using state of the art equipment helps to identify, diagnose and treat Eye and ENT related problems. The department of Ophthalmology offers a variety of surgical treatment procedures like cataract surgery, corneal transplant surgery, glaucoma drainage surgery, mid face reconstruction and cosmetic surgery, squint surgery, retinal detachment surgery. Procedures like cochlear implants, reconstructive surgery post trauma or cancer head and neck surgery are unique to ENT. Based on these specialized procedures, patients are accommodated in the out-patient as well as the in-patient areas. Responsibilities:
You will be responsible to:
provide accurate, timely and efficient delivery of care while maintaining quality patient care and audiology services
assist in ensuring proper operation and maintenance of equipment, and accessories along with maintenance of proper records and database of patient information
counsel and instruct patient in techniques to improve in hearing impairment
instruct and advice patients on hearing aid usage
assist in ensuring proper operation, maintenance of equipment and accessories
follow policy, procedures and participate in quality assurance activities
demonstrate safe handling and proper use of equipment and supplies
carry out other task assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements:
You should have:
at least Intermediate, preferably a Bachelors degree in Science will be preferred
at least one year of related experience
good knowledge of basic patient care needs
good interpersonal skills
ability to integrate International Patient Safety Goals in patient care
ability to work under pressure.
