Job Description
GI & Surgery Service Line manages patients with a variety of acute and chronic surgical and medical conditions related to General Surgery, Breast Surgery, Plastic Surgery and Gastroenterology. Comprehensive inpatient and outpatient facilities including general and intensive care are available for surgical and gastrointestinal patients. Moreover, our Endoscopy suite provides diagnostic / therapeutic scopic procedures to both ambulatory and inpatients.
Aga Khan University Hospital invites applications for the position of Endoscopy Technician.

Responsibilities:
You will be responsible to perform and assist in basic task listed below according to defined policies and protocols under close monitoring of Senior/Supervisor
Initial assessment
patient preparation for procedure
perform standards of scope washing and disinfection process
monitoring of post sedated patient in recovery
Assist in all endoscopic procedures such as EGD, Bronchoscopy and Colonoscopy and ERCP etc.
At each stage ensure safe equipment handling.

Requirements:
You should have:
matriculation, Intermediate with Science will be preferred
certificate course of Technician or an equivalent training from a reputable institution
at least one to two years of related experience
willingness to work in shift duties.
