The Service Line – Children’s Hospital is committed to providing state-of-the-art clinical services to children. It imparts high quality undergraduate and postgraduate training as well. It consists of a group of dedicated full-time and part-time faculty. Besides the outpatient clinics, the inpatient set-up consists of 122 beds, including 24 beds NICU, 8 beds PICU, 4 beds CICU, 16 beds SCU and sub-specialty areas for Paediatric Neurology, Cardiology, Surgery etc. along with round the clock fully trained paediatric medical and nursing staff.

You should have:
at least a Baccalaureate degree in Nursing (BScN) from an accredited school, while having a Master’s degree in nursing will be preferred
valid license from Pakistan Nursing Council
at least six years of relevant experience
strong interpersonal skills, particularly communication skills
ability to demonstrate leadership and handle difficult situations
willingness to work in shifts.

You will be responsible to:
provide expert clinical providing direction and assistance to the health care team in maintaining optimum quality of nursing care
teach activities related to clinical care, staff development and providing leadership in patient care management
collaborate with multidisciplinary patient care teamsin providing educational opportunities to the nursing staff
carry out clinical reviews and liaise with the concerned authorities for the same
assess patient care and acuity trends, plan and manage unit and staffing while managing adequate supplies, equipment and resources
demonstrate initiative to review concepts of Quality Improvement in Nursing Practice (QINP).
