Planning Commission invites applications for the following positions from top professionals with proven track record in their respective fields, committed and motivated for making valuable contributions towards development of Pakistan through implementation of Vision 2025 goals. Under the overall guidance of the Deputy Chairman Planning Commission / Minister for Planning Development and Reform, the Members will perform & assist in the following tasks:

1- Member Private Sector Development
Formulation of policies, strategies and programs to accelerate private sector development, entrepreneurship and public private partnerships (PPP). SME growth, trade and investment facilitation, industrial cluster development and economic zones development.
Serve as an advisor to the Commission on policy measures, tools and instruments in fields of FDI. export promotion, inclusive market development, ease of doing business and competitiveness index.

2- Member Development Communication
Formulation of policies, strategies and programs to build national narrative on development issues and projects; lead strategic communication campaigns to promote positive image of the country, generate active public engagement though traditional and social media on socioeconomic development needs.
Devise effective programs to create general awareness among masses about development sector issues; develop knowledge base and foster partnership with stakeholders to provide knowledge sharing opportunities on the ongoing development activities; build partnership with media to jointly work on development themes.

3- Member Science & Technology/IT
Formulation of policies, strategies and programs to develop Science & Technology/IT infrastructure by fostering innovation through partnership between the government, research/academia and industry to realize the vision of knowledge based economy as envisaged in Vision 2025.
Devise effective strategies to develop a robust digital economy infrastructure and promoting its applications for better governance, citizen facilitation and innovation in the country.
