Sindh Madressatul Islam University is one of the fastest growing universities in the country It is a chartered University duly recognized by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan. It is one of the oldest institutions in South Asia, which started as a school in 1885, became a college in 1943 and a university in 2012. Its campus is in the commercial hub of Karachi, near I.I. Chundrigar Road and comprises some of the most beautiful colonial era buildings. The Founder of Pakistan Quaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah studied at this institution for about five years from 1887-92. Today, it has state of the art academic facilities as well as highly qualified faculty.
