The Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology is part of the University’s Women and Child Health Division, which deals with the continuum of maternal, fetal and child health issues.
The department offers a broad range of in-patient and out-patient services for women including high risk obstetrical care, infertility, foetal assessment, routine obstetric, reproductive endocrinology, gynaecological oncology and comprehensive diagnosis and treatment of routine gynaecological disorders. It also offers a four-year residency training programme.
You will be expected to have undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, clinical, research and specified administrative responsibilities.
You must have completed a structured post-graduate training from a reputable institution and possess FCPS Part I or equivalent and be eligible for FCPS-II/ or equivalent. You should also have valid PMDC license.
