Associate, Grant and Administration (AKDN Digital Health Resource Centre) – Aga Khan University – Karachi

Job Description
You will provide technical, administrative and financial support for the Teeko+ Project, funded by Grand Challenges Canada and Aga Khan Foundation Canada. You will also prepare financial reports as per donor timelines; process budgetary approvals of Personnel Requisitions, Capital Requests, Travel Requests and for project personnel; manage logistical arrangements management and assist in internal/external audits for the grant.

Responsibilities:
Your responsibilities will include, but not limited to;
Prepare timely financial reports.
Provide logistical support to staff travelling to Teeko+ Project sites.
Provide administrative support to Teeko+ Project staff.
Obtain timely budgetary approvals for PRs, TRs, vouchers & travel advances related to vendors & Project staff.
Prepare and monitor grant variance analysis for actual versus budgeted expenditure for compliance.
Ensure proper documentation in accordance with the payment and agency requirement.
Process asset procurement requests and coordinate with relevant stakeholders.
Coordinate with governmental and non-governmental stakeholders involved in the Teeko+ Project.
Arrange stakeholder meetings in Afghanistan and Pakistan for Teeko+ Project.
Prepare monthly FTEs reconciliation for the Teeko+ Project.
Analyse queries in grant expenses from the General Ledger.
Assist internal/external auditors during grant audits and year-end audits.

Requirements:
B.COM, ICMA, ACCA or ACMA
Minimum 3 years of related experience.
Sound knowledge of overall financial systems including accounting principles and their applications.
Proficiency in computers especially MS Office, particularly MS Excel, MS Word and PowerPoint tools is required.
Excellent analytical skills
Ability to multitask efficiently.
Possess good interpersonal skills and
Ability to work under pressure and under tight deadlines.
