Job Description
The Aga Khan University invites application for the position of Electronics Technician for Bio-medical Department.

Responsibilities:
Specifically, you will be responsible for:
installation, configuration, maintenance and commissioning of Nurse call system, CCTV, Fire Alarm, PA & Access Control System as per requirement
repair, install, maintain, calibrate, and inspect complex Electronics equipment, and keep records of data and documents as per assigned work order
technical inspection of Electronics equipment / spares / consumable as per the maintenance procedure and department standard to ensure its meeting the requirement
perform preventive maintenance of the equipment, devices, and systems and keep records of data and documentation, and monitor completion of preventive maintenance activities performed by outside vendor
review outcome of preventive maintenance action and make recommendations to department staff concerning improvements
conduct periodic inspections of areas and timely evaluate and provide feedback to Team Leader about spare parts availability
informs personnel regarding procedures and/or status of work orders for the purpose of providing necessary information for making decisions, taking appropriate action and/or complying with health and safety regulations
responds to emergencies during or after working hours for resolving immediate safety/security concerns
attends workshops, training, and seminars for the purpose of conveying and/or gathering information required to perform job functions
other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the management with respect to the concerned department.

Requirements:
DAE in Electronics
minimum 04 years of work experience
strong experience in installation and maintenance of Nurse Call system, fire alarm, emergency communication system (RF paging and voice evacuation system), intrusion alarm systems and public address equipment
performs upgrades and additions to systems in order to increase functionality and usability
able to interpret designs/diagrams
detailed knowledge and experience of operations and maintenance of ELV system components
good knowledge of use of computer and basic software / programs
ability to handle multiple tasks and perform under pressure
a positive and result-oriented can-do attitude.
